You will have time to hang out at the beach, go into the woods, enjoy a bike ride or go horseback riding if you choose. The STORMFARMEN is a unique passion place located in “Cold Hawaii”. Imagine staying in a cosy house in Denmark surrounded by nature and the North Sea. Sounds pretty ideal, doesn’t it?
It’s a special moment when you enter Denmark’s largest wilderness – Thy National Park. Step outside and feel a special mix of fresh air, absolute silence and the sound of the sea far behind the dunes. That is one of the many reasons why we believe this is one of the best places for our retreat.
The beautiful modern-designed farm is located on the outskirts of Klitmøller and is surrounded by 5 hectares of nature reserve. From there it is only a few minutes by bike to the village or to the beach. All surfing spots are within easy reach by car.
“Cold Hawaii”
Klitmøller “Centre of Cold Hawaii” is a classic fishing village on the northwest coast of Denmark and was discovered by surfers in the early 90s. Since the first Windsurf World Cup, the village has become the official Mecca for water sports enthusiasts from all over Northern Europe as the heart of the Cold Hawaii region.
In addition to fishing, the village offers sporty, nature loving active tourism and has very good facilities with various restaurants, shopping facilities and sporting activities. Check in to experience the storm and the silence, and connect with people and nature.

Bettina is 55 years old and a mother of an 18-year-old. Hamburg, Mallorca and Klitmøller/Denmark are her home-places to be. Riding many great and also challenging “waves of life” – with her positive mindset – giving up is never an option for her.
Being a former Windsurf-addict for 30+ years she is since 10+ years passionate about paddleboarding in waves. She has participated successfully at many national and international events and is triple German Vicechampion SUP Wave. In 2018 she was part of Team Germany at the ISA SUP Worldchampionships in China.
And as a big “Ocean Lover” she has realized an inspiring heart-project: “BETTY WOULD GO. Ride Waves – Surf Life – Save the Ocean”. If you want to get to know her in a very personal way, watch her film! You will even find an insight on Cold Hawaii in there.
